Posters illustrated by Osvaldo Ballerio in the early 20th century
Ballerio was the author of numerous military and patriotic postcards published during the First World War. He was also active as a decorator, leaving numerous interventions in the churches of the Val d’Intelvi. In the church of the Sacramentine in Milan, a large painting of his depicting the apparition of Christ to the Blessed Maria Lacoque is exhibited.
