Born 1942 as Baron Ernst Alphons Maria Vincenz Franz Anton von Gecmen-Waldeck in Prague, photographer Alexis Waldeck was active in the 1960s, and his work appeared in magazines like Vogue, and his work was included in a major exhibition called “Chronorama: Photographic Treasures of the 20th Century” at the Helmut Newton Foundation.
Waldeck photographed a number of models and personalities, including Marisa Mell, Liza Minnelli, Anne Tysen, and Donna Mitchell. He was married to Victoire, Princesse de Bourbon-Parma. These stunning photos are part of Alexis Waldeck’s fashion portrait series, capturing classic beauties from the late 1960s.
