A singer, an actress, a television host, a Hollywood legend and the Goddess of Pop, Cher has adopted and innovated a variety of styles and looks during her six-decade-long career. From the hippie fashion with bell-bottoms and bandanas to racier leather and lace pieces, Cher emerged as a fashion trendsetter, a sex symbol, a cultural phenomenon who fought against the network censors and the “pioneer of the belly beautiful” dubbed by People magazine. “In this era I could hardly take a bad picture,” Cher recalls her ‘70s and ‘80s outfits in an exclusive video for Vogue. “All my clothes were fabulous, and I loved them. I spent pretty much all of my time naked.”
