The 1970s was the decade of rapid change; it was the time for rebels, sports, feminism, and protests. The era is known for being a time of culture and politics. The first Pride march of 1971 ended up in Trafalgar Square, the first Concorde flight to JFK airport left Heathrow in 1977, and people partied in the streets for the Notting Hill Carnival, Silver Jubilee, and Arsenal’s FA Cup win over Liverpool.
