Science Fiction Quarterly was an American pulp science fiction magazine published in two runs, from 1940 to 1943 and again from 1951 to 1958. Edited largely by Robert A. W. Lowndes, it featured stories by notable writers of the era and became one of the last surviving science fiction pulps before the format faded away.
These vintage covers capture the bold visual style of pulp science fiction during the 1940s and ’50s. Dramatic illustrations of space exploration, futuristic technology, alien worlds, and adventurous heroes filled the magazine’s covers, reflecting the excitement and imagination of mid-century science fiction. They offer a vivid glimpse into the graphic design and storytelling spirit of one of the last great science fiction pulp magazines.
