Cats have been at the sides of famous actresses since the very beginning of film. Marie Prevost and Pepper entertained audiences in silent films. Today cats are still prevalent on TV, in films and movies and are much loved by their star owners.
During the 1940s, 1950s and ’60s Siamese cats took the forefront as the favorite breed owned by film celebrities. However, soon the Siamese had to move over for the likes of Orangey in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, who starred along with the cat loving Audrey Hepburn.
