These beautiful pictures were taken by British photographer Peter Marshall during a holiday in Aix-en-Provence, including visits to Marseille, Arles, etc. in the Spring of 1974.
“Although some of the locations are obvious, I can remember little about the others, and we travelled fairly widely around the area.” Marshall wrote. “Taken around 36 years ago, some of the slides I took have deteriorated beyond use, and the selection here is mainly of those that show little damage.”
