25 Wonderful Photos of a Family With Their Mercedes-Benz 250S in the 1960s and ’70s

The Mercedes-Benz 250S was a variant of the W108/W109 S-Class that was introduced for the 1966 model year. The 250 S was built on the shorter W108 chassis, and was powered by Mercedes’ M108 engine. This carbureted 2.5L inline six powerplant generated 128hp which was sent to the rear wheels via a standard 4 speed manual, or an optional 4 speed automatic transmission.

Production of the W108/W109 250S lasted until 1969, with a total of 74,677 examples built.
These wonderful photos from huebner family photos that captured beautiful moments of a family with their Mercedes-Benz 250S in the 1960s and 1970s: “We picked this car up at the factory in Sindelfingen, West Germany, on 19 August 1966 and sold it in 1976. It is an example of the Mercedes W108 body style, designed by Paul Bracq.”
