In a video recorded at a 1992 talent show in his native Ontario, a very young Ryan Gosling — sporting MC Hammer-style pants and a purple rayon shirt — dances to the Cathy Dennis’ 1984 hit “Touch Me (All Night Long)” with a group of seven girls.
Gosling’s school talent show performances came just before he joined the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club, in which he starred opposite then-unknown Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.
