Travel Around the World by Scooter in the 1950s

World trip, on a Maico scooter with sidecar (the red ‘Pechvogel’), made by Wim Dussel and Manfred Uschold from July 1955 to July 1956.

Part of the photo archive Wim Dussel (collection IISH), the collection contains about 10.000 negatives of this trip and slides. Only 36 photographs were previously published in Wim Dussel’s book ‘The world is still around: by scooter across Europe, Asia and North America’. – Amsterdam: C. de Boer jr, 1957.
